New Lower School Teachers

Four teachers join the lower school faculty this year.
Lauren Hagan, the new kindergarten teacher, is a graduate of the University of the South with a B.S. in Biology and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Belmont University. Lauren has sixteen years of teaching experience, most recently as a first grade teacher at Eakin Elementary, where she also served in a variety of faculty leadership positions.

Nabilah Rahman, who will teach second grade, has seven years of teaching experience, most recently at Falk Laboratory School of the University of Pittsburgh in first and second grades. She double majored in Elementary Education and Sociology at Vanderbilt University. She later received from the University of Memphis a Master’s degree in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership.

Molly Princehorn Darr, who taught second grade at USN for ten years before going to North Carolina, has returned. She has a degree in Special Education from MTSU and sixteen years of teaching experience.

New third grade teacher Lauren Gage has six years of teaching experience, including a year in Spain. She has a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt.
