Edwin Green

Edwin started in 1st grade with Ms. Coffman; it was 1976.
Which teachers and fellow alumni do you most want to see at Reunion and why?
Ms Melchiore has to be top of that list. She was great both as a teacher and an advisor. Mrs Venable, and DC would be great to see too.
 
What is your favorite memory of your time at PDS/USN?
I believe that Junior and Senior year Bernie Hosey and I played Ultimate everyday on the Green, regardless of rain or snow. That was great. But in between 1st grade and 2nd grade, USN started summer camp, and I remember standing next to Kent Chen while he and I shot real metal tipped, target arrows, across the basketball courts. I bet you can't do that anymore.
 
What are your three favorite ways to spend your time?
Wife and our three kids, lots of running, and watching TV’
 
What would you most like people to know about your life after high school?
I have been fortunate to live a lot of places since graduating USN - Boulder, Knoxville, New York, Charlotte, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, and now back in Nashville.
 
What is something about you that would surprise your PDS/USN classmates?
So far I have run 12 marathons and raced 4 Ironmans, including the World Championship in Hawaii.

Undergrad: University of Colorado at Boulder--Finance
Grad: University of Tennessee School of Law and New York University College of Law--Law

Spouse: Lara
Children: Tate (6), Celeste (4), and Hadley (2)

What do you do for a living?
Profession: Tax Attorney
Employer: Caterpillar Financial
Position: Head of Global Tax
