Goodpasture outlasts Tigers

The Tigers headed to North Nashville to play their final league game of the season Thursday night at Goodpasture. They knew they would be in for a tough game as it is never an easy place to play. The Cougars jumped out to a quick lead early in the game with several drives to the basket. Myles Hamilton kept the Tigers in it early as he scored the teams first 8 points. The tigers fought hard the whole first half and after a turnover and bucket with 5 seconds to go took a one point lead into half. coming down the stretch in was back and forth until a few minutes left in the fourth quarter when the Cougars took the lead for good and went on to a 45-35 victory. Myles Hamilton continued his streak of double figure scoring with 12 points while Alex Bahner added 9 points and 6 boards. The Tigers will travel to Ensworth Middle today to take on the other Tigers at 5:00pm.
