Tigers get back in the win column with win over CPA

Will Mantlo
The Tigers had dropped two in a row heading into Thursday's game against basketball powerhouse CPA. The Tigers got off to a great start on both ends of floor showing they were up to the challenge of yet another tough team. They opened up a ten-point lead at the half but knew CPA would not go away quietly. After CPA forced several turnovers Myles Hamilton was able to get into the middle of the defense and deliver a few timely buckets. When CPA cut the lead to 5, the Tigers tighted down the defense and took care of the ball on way to a 9-point victory. Connor Shockley and Isaac Eskind both passed the ball well handling much of the pressure from CPA. Duncan Clark added hustle plays all over the court while Alex Bahner snagged 10 rebounds and Myles Hamilton dropped in 10 points. Jason Malkofsky-Berger, Jackson Schnelle, Jackson Bryant, and Darryl Payne all helped out in the win as well. The Tigers have a quick turn around with CAK, out of Knoxville makes their way to the Cheek Coliseum today at 5:00pm.
