Help us celebrate thirty years of Grandparents' Day.
Since the fall of 1982, USN has celebrated Grandparents' Day each year. The performance of the Turkey Trot by kindergarten students and 13 year club seniors is a beloved part of the tradition. Recently some USN students broke out in a spontaneous rendition of the Trot. We would love to see your version. Use the video to learn the moves. Memorize the lyrics below. Download this recording of the music. Get your friends and family in on the act, shoot the video, and post it on the USN Facebook page.
The Turkey Trot Let’s do the turkey trot, the turkey trot. Come on everyone, join on in the fun… And do the turkey trot, the turkey trot It’s really very easy to do.
First you spread your wings and wobble, wobble wobble. Then let me hear you gobble, gobble, gobble. Turn around and scratch the ground. Now you’re doing the turkey trot.
Let’s do the turkey trot, the turkey trot. Come on everyone, join on in the fun… And do the turkey trot, the turkey trot It’s really very easy to do.
