Coach Jeff Goold US Lacrosse Man of the Year

by Coach Josh Scouten

Longtime USN lacrosse coach Jeff Goold received special recognition at this past weekend's State Final Four here in Nashville.
Coach Goold, who started the lacrosse program at USN 19 years ago, was head boys' lacrosse coach at USN for 16 years and served as the middle school lacrosse coach for the past 4 years. His 20+ years of work in building the sport of lacrosse here in Nashville and across the state brought him special recognition from the Tennessee Chapter of US Lacrosse. He was named the 2011 Man of the Year for his many years of service to the sport of lacrosse.

He will be retiring from coaching this year and filling in a role here at USN in MS Band, a passion of Coach Goold's for many years. USN and the entire lacrosse community will miss the dedicated work that he brought to the sport. Congratulations to Jeff Goold, US Lacrosse - Tennessee Chapter Man of the Year.
