Who's ready to be part of the Alumni Board?

Liza Beazley Lentz '73
The PDS/USN Alumni Association connects alumni to each other and to the USN community so that the school continues to thrive.

--Mission Statement of the Alumni Association
Members of the Alumni Board are the volunteer representatives of the Alumni Association. The board is here to voice the interests and concerns of alumni as well as provide a conduit for the school to stay in better touch with them.

The official duties of the Alumni Board members are light, but the effectiveness of the board is directly related to the level of commitment of its members. Its formal tasks range from helping put on the annual All Alumni Party to soliciting nominations for and then selecting each year’s Distinguished Alumnus/a.

Each year some members of the Alumni Board rotate off and new ones come on.  The term for each board member is two years, with an option for serving additional terms. This year there will be 5 spaces on the Alumni Board. A list of the current members of the Alumni Board is below.

If you would like to nominate an alumna/us or would be interested in serving, please use this link to go to the nominee registration form. If you have any questions, please contact Alumni Board President Liza Lentz (llentz@cfmt.org) or Alumni Director Tom Bailey (tbailey@usn.org).

Since the Board meets at school, it is helpful to have members who live in the Nashville area, but it is not required.
