Freshman Girls' Lacrosse Player, Lucy Fox, selected to the All-Region Team

Voted as one of the top 20 players in the extremely talented region, Lucy will represent USN and the Central West Region in the Tennessee Girls' Lacrosse Association (TGLA) All-Star Game on Saturday, May 14.
Lucy Fox began her high school athletic career earlier than most.  She was asked to play with the varsity lacrosse team as an 8th grader to fill roster spots.  Her athleticism and willingness to work hard pushed her to be our second leading scorer in the 2010 season.  During her first year in high school, coming into lacrosse as a second year varsity player, Lucy had high expectations of herself to be a leader on both offense and defense.

In the 2011 season, in 13 games, she scored 33 goals and picked up 54 ground balls.  She frequently dominated the stat sheet, coming through at crucial times with big goals and important steals.  Lucy became one of our go-to players on offense, and everyone was more comfortable with Lucy on the field.

We are delighted that she can represent USN in the first ever TGLA All-Star game.  She will be competing with and against the best players in the state.  It will surely be a great experience for her and we encourage everyone to come out and support her.

The All-Star game is on Saturday, May 14th at 1pm at Harpeth Hall.
