MS Girls Basketball - David Lipscomb Recap

Last night the Varsity and JV teams took on the Mustangs of David Lipscomb. The JV team was the first to hit the floor and came out of the gates very strong with an 11-3 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. They continued to show their strenght on defense by not allowiing the Mustangs to score in the third quarter. They finished the game with at 28-18 victory and everyone contributed in the game. Scoring was led by Leah Fassinger with 7 points and Whitley Cargile and Francesca Eluhu each had 6 points. Mackenzie Millet had 6 steals.

 

The Varsity game was just as exciting as the girls cruised to a 39-26 win over the Mustangs. Our scoring was led by our 8th grade group: Alexis Hood (8), Bailey Conner (6), Jameice Holmes (6), Hannah Stein (5), Chloe Kibble (5), and Mallor Leeper (4). Also, Hannah Stein and Jameice Holmes had 3 steals each. Francesca Eluhu had 7 rebounds in the game.

 

Next Game: Today @ Franklin Road Academy - Varsity @ 4pm and JV @ 5pm
