Finalists visit in September

Four finalists will visit USN during the first two weeks of September. For faculty & staff and parents & families, there will be an afternoon session and a morning session with each candidate. Dates and times were emailed directly to faculty & staff and parents & families.
Dear PDS/USN community,
 
As our Director search moves into its final stages, we anticipate a busy and exciting period ahead. 

The Director Search Committee recently interviewed a strong pool of talented candidates with an impressive breadth of experience. From that group of candidates, we have selected four finalists who will return to Nashville in early September for a more comprehensive visit to our campuses. To ensure that we capitalize on the fall independent school hiring opportunity, our finalists will be on campus over a densely packed two-week period. Each candidate visit will include opportunities to interact with administrators, faculty, staff, families, and the Board of Trustees as well as student leaders.

We recognize that the beginning of the school year is a busy time for our families and want to extend our deep appreciation to everyone for this upcoming time commitment. We will share candidate-specific details in advance of each visit and encourage you to mark your calendars now for an opportunity to meet finalists. 

There will be an afternoon session and a morning session with each of the four candidates. They will take place on the Edgehill Campus, with the specific rooms included in the communication to be shared before the candidate’s arrival. 
Reaching this stage of the search is the result of a thorough and intentional process, and we are excited to host this group of highly talented educators on campus. In addition to ultimately selecting the right candidate to lead USN, we look forward to sharing with the candidates the very best of USN, demonstrating our characteristic hospitality, and welcoming each finalist such that they will leave campus even more excited about the opportunity than when they arrived.

At every step in the search process, we have prioritized our desire to identify a leader who will embrace USN’s culture and mission. We are confident that the strength of our community will serve as a strong foundation on which our next leader will build.
