Swingin', sweet start to the year August 10

The USN community will celebrate its back-to-school Popsicle Party and new playground at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 10. This event on May Plaza and the Back Lawn is open to all K-12 students and their families. Parking is available in the 19th Avenue lot and Vanderbilt University lot 111.
Join University School of Nashville students, families, faculty, and staff for a special double celebration from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 10 on May Plaza and the Back Lawn. This back-to-school gathering is for all ages and will include frozen treats as well as first play on the school's new playground. All indications are that the playground will be ready for play by the annual Popsicle Party, but bring soccer and basketballs for field and blacktop play just in case. During this party, families also can:
  • sign up to volunteer during Fall Fest, Fall Book Frenzy, Artclectic, and other service opportunities;
  • renew their family's membership with our athletics boosters Tiger Club and arts boosters Tiger Arts Patrons;
  • check out the newest USN swag at our Spirit Store pop-up table.
Parking is available in the 19th Avenue lot and Vanderbilt University lot 111. In the event of inclement weather, K-12 families and administrators will gather in Sperling Gym.
