A late push from Ballard gave them the momentum going into the last quarter.
The weekend in Louisville was all about learning, being flexible, and working hard. We did all of those things! We were missing a few key players that allowed opportunity for others to try new positions. Adelaide Ritter was brave and resilient at the goal keeper position and made some real game-changing saves down the stretch. Several players spent a lot of time playing in the midfield, really digging deep to keep up after several games in only a few days.
Our scoring came from several players, which we love to see! Margaret McKay, Annie Cox, and Emma Schwarz each had two goals while Tate Barbieri and Celeste Green each added one goal.
Although we came up short at the end of the game, we had lots of growth in our learning and experience. GO TIGERS!
