The Middle School Baseball Tigers kicked off their season against Montgomery Bell Academy yesterday at the River Campus. It was a competitive game and the Tigers really pushed hard but unfortunately fell short losing 8-4. After a few early first game jitters caused defensive lapses, USN settled down behind the excellent pitching of Harry Stahl with later inning help from AJ Truss. The Tigers battled back lead by the aggressive base running of Harry Stahl and Henry Baxter and the timely hitting from El Whelan. Although the Tigers came up short in the rain shortened game, there is excitement about the season going forward.
