Split Results at Ensworth Meet

This meet was scored as a tri-dual meet. That means it was scored as if USN swam individual dual meets against Ensworth, Harding, and CPA. The results were as follows:
  • COMBINED USN beat CPA (121-100) and Harding (113-91) and lost to Ensworth (68-201).
  • USN BOYS beat Harding (56-34) and lost to CPA (64-47) and Ensworth (88-40).
  • USN GIRLS beat CPA (74-36), tied with Harding (57-57), and lost to Ensworth (113-28).
As a reminder, in a dual meet, the top 5 scorers in each individual event earn points, but no more than 3 of those swimmers can be from the same team (relays are scored differently). For example, in the girls' 50 freestyle, in the meet against Ensworth, we came in 2nd (Fair Wellons) and 5th (Martha Gray Sasser) and Ensworth came in 1st, 3rd, and 4th. However, since Fair Wellons, Martha Gray Sasser, and Melis Kurtulus ALL beat every swimmer from Harding and CPA, they came in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively in those meets.

Nonetheless, here are swimmers who scored in each event in at least one meet:
  • Girls 200 Medley Relay: A- Fair Wellons, Martha Gray Sasser, Aurelia Sloane, Coco Shepard; B- Maggie Weiss, Melis Kurtulus, Rose Theobald, Alice Cramer
  • Boys 200 Medley Relay: A- Evan Valentine, James Michels, Jack Fruin, Falcon Reed
  • 200 Free: Aurelia Sloane(1st overall!), Jack Fruin
  • 50 Free: Fair Wellons, Martha Gray Sasser, Melis Kurtulus, Falcon Reed(1st overall!), James Michels, Miles Lewis
  • 100 Free: Coco Shepard, Alice Cramer, Jack Fruin (1st overall!), Evan Valentine
  • 500 Free: Aurelia Sloane
  • Girls 200 Free Relay: A- Fair Wellons, Martha Gray Sasser, Coco Shepard, Aurelia Sloane; B- Maggie Weiss, Suzie Zhao, Rose Theobald, Melis Kurtulus
  • Boys 200 Free Relay: A- Evan Valentine, James Michels, Falcon Reed, Jack Fruin; B- Miles Lewis, Garrett Northwall, Tej Morrison, Oren Schwartz
  • 100 Back: Fair Wellons, Martha Gray Sasser, Suzie Zhao, Falcon Reed, James Michels, Evan Valentine
  • 100 Breast: Maggie Weiss, Rose Theobald, Norah Clarke, Miles Lewis
This was our first time this season in a legal, 25 yard pool, so that means it is was everyone's first time swimming a 50 free this season-- congratulations! That does also mean that "best times" are a bit wonky, but here are some standouts:
  1. Martha Gray, Melis, Coco, and Maggie all earned their MTHSSA cut in the 50 free!
  2. Falcon also went a sub-30 50 free.
  3. Hattie dropped a smidge of time in her 100 free.
  4. Jack went 3 seconds faster than he has this season in the 100 free, and he fought for the last 5 yards to outtouch his competitor.
  5. Oliver and Rishav also had a fantastic race to the finish in the 100 free after a race with good walls.
  6. Aurelia went her fastest USN 500 free!
