Athletics adds new trainer
Join us in welcoming Jordan Faimon to University School of Nashville as the Athletics Department’s first-ever, full-time athletic trainer.

Before USN hired Faimon, Vanderbilt provided USN with a part-time athletic trainer. USN will maintain its relationship with Vanderbilt Sports Medicine to provide additional care for student-athletes as needed.

University School of Nashville welcomes Jordan Faimon as the new athletic trainer, a role in which he’ll work closely with USN athletes and coaches to manage all aspects of student-athletes’ medical care including preventative medicine, injury care, and recovery.
Faimon joins the Tigers from Elite Sports Medicine & Orthopedics. Prior to moving to Nashville, Faimon worked as a trainer at University of Oklahoma, American University, and South Dakota State University where he earned his master’s degree in sport and recreation studies. During his time at SDSU, he also served as a clinical instructor for entry-level graduate and undergraduate athletic training students. Additionally, Faimon has experience in facility management and talent acquisition. He is National Athletic Trainers Association Board certified and is licensed with the State of Tennessee Department of Health.
