Tennis Tigers Lasso Lipscomb Mustangs!
With a threat of rain nearby, our match with Lipscomb had a late start. They forfeited line 2 doubles, so with a jump start of a 1 point advantage, our Tigers were eager to get on the courts to capture more wins.
Easy wins at lines 1, 3 singles and 1 doubles gave us another 3 points.
The match of the day was line 2 singles. Zara was off to a slow start at 1-5 but came back to win 4 games in a row. Tough play and determination by Zara showed what a strong player she has become, but in the end, she fell short with a 6-8 loss.
Our Tigers are still undefeated with the JV traveling to FRA on Wednesday and the Match Girls traveling to BGA on Thursday.
