Comedy couple Susan Yeagley ’89 and Kevin Nealon announced their annual Leaky Pen winner during High School’s annual end-of-year awards day. Congratulations Emily Wykoff ’22.
This essay contest, open to USN seniors, invites students to earn fame and a $1,000 fortune for a humorous essay. This year’s prompt was "Is this on?" This year's submissions were a particularly strong batch, and Emily's quirky wit and keenly observed details shine through her prose. Click here to read Emily’s award-winning essay.
Each year, USN sends the essays off to Los Angeles to be judged by Yeagley and Nealon. The announcement revealing the winner comes by way of video; watch the announcement here.
