Summer camps for aspiring athletes

Triathlon Camp
Grades K-4
Registration fee: $400
Instructor: Matt Lukach, Sixth Grade English Teacher

June 6–10 (all day)
Swim, bike, run — whether you're experienced or still trying to ditch the training wheels and build confidence in the pool, this full-day camp is for you. On our last day, campers do a triathlon. Campers will need a swim suit, goggles, towel, sunscreen, and a bicycle and helmet (which can be kept at school). Those who attend should always wear athletic clothing and shoes also.

Cheer Camp
Grades K-4

Flag Football
Grades 3-6
Registration fee: $150

Flag Football Camp invites young athletes of all levels to join the fun this summer and take their game to the next level. Our experienced coaching staff will help each camper learn the fundamentals while assisting them to develop skills using proper techniques. Offensive and defensive position drills along with proper stretching and warm-ups occur each day along with fun football competitions. Campers will then apply what they've learned earlier in the day and bring it to the field for exciting flag football games. A great opportunity for any young athlete looking to improve their game, have fun, make new friends, and raise their confidence. Campers will need to bring a water bottle, snack, sunscreen, and mouth guard each day. 

USN Tiger Tennis Camp
Grades K-9
Registration fee: $150

June 27–July 1 (a.m.)
In this camp, we want campers to have fun while enjoying the sport of tennis so that they continue to play for a lifetime. We will focus on basic strokes, racket skills, ball placement, stroke selection, point play, and live ball drills. Campers should bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and tennis racket each day.  

USN Tiger Soccer Camp
Grades K-7
Registration fee: $185
Instructors: Megan Masuhr, PE Teacher, and Earle Davidson, PE Teacher

USN Tiger Soccer Camp is an opportunity for students to learn and practice soccer skills, be active with peers, and build self-confidence. USN Head Girls Soccer Coach Megan Masuhr and Head Boys Soccer Coach Earle Davidson look forward to providing a fun and positive environment that will encourage teamwork and sportsmanship. This camp is a great option for anyone who is curious and soccer as well as those who have developed a love for the game. All skill levels are welcome. Campers will need a water bottle, snack, sunscreen, bug spray, shin guards, socks, and cleats or sneakers.

Ultimate Frisbee Camp
Grades 4-7
Registration fee: $150
Instructor: Tobey Balzer '02, Fifth Grade Science Teacher

Come learn the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. Campers will learn how to play the game and sharper their skills through fun activities and mini-games. No experience is needed. Campers should bring a water bottle, athletic shoes, and sunscreen.

USN Lacrosse Camp 
Grades 1-8
Registration fee: $150
Instructors: Josh Scouten, Athletic Director, and Lilly Miller, MS Athletic Director

Join HS Boys Head Lacrosse Coach Josh Scouten and HS Girls Head Lacrosse Coach Lilly Miller for USN Lacrosse Camp. Whether you're ready to perfect your behind-the-back shot or you've never held a stick, this camp is for all lacrosse lovers. Campers will need a water bottle, sunscreen, and mouthguard. If campers have their own lacrosse stick, cleats, and other gear, they are encouraged to bring it. 

Adventure Nashville
Grades 7-10
Registration fee: $400
Instructors: Andy Hedman, HS Math Teacher and Misha Davydov, Kindergarten Teacher

June 20–24 (all day)
June 27–July 1 (all day)
July 11–15 (all day)
Campers will split time between the Crag indoor climbing gym and day trips to green spaces in and around Nashville including hiking, swimming, paddling, and outdoor rock climbing. Depending on the daily activity, campers will need to wear clothes and shoes appropriate for outdoor summer adventures. Students will need a 32 oz water bottle, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and a packed lunch also. All climbing and paddling gear will be provided. Students are welcome to bring outdoor play items such as frisbees.

Yoga Shark Week
Grades K-4
Registration fee: $165
Instructor: Habitat Yoga Instructor

July 5–8 (p.m.)
In honor of Discovery Channel's annual, week-long TV program, Habitat Yoga presents Yoga Shark Week this summer. Swimming into your summer schedule, each camper will learn more about sharks and yoga combined. Using our breath and our brains, we'll tackle any fears or misconceptions we have around sharks and yoga. We will work as a community flowing through yoga poses, shark-themed games, ocean crafts, and so much more in this deep-sea adventure. Campers need to bring a water bottle and snack each day.
