Young Filmmakers
Grades 2-6
Registration fee: $250

Taught by Emmy-winning filmmaker Zac Adams, this is an exciting, hands-on workshop where students write, film, direct, and act in a 7-10 minute short film. Each class collaborates on one project. After filming is complete, a professional editor pieces everything together. Parents are then emailed a high-definition link of the movie to share with friends and family. Campers should bring bottled water, comfortable shoes, and sunscreen.

Guitar & Piano Jam
Grades K-4
Registration fee: $250

Jam, jam, jam! This popular camp inspires kids to play by ear and make music together on the spot. It includes basic skills on guitar and piano and fun group activities. Musical instruments provided. 

Sing-along Songfest
Grades K-5
Registration fee: $250

Dates:

Kids gather ‘round the piano and guitar and have fun harmonizing and improvising, singing lots of familiar songs, and learning new ones to last a lifetime — Disney, Broadway, traditional, etc. 

Songwriting for Kids
Grades 2-8

An opportunity to explore the creative side of music-making through the basics of rhythm and rhyme. Playful activities introduce kids to the magic of songwriting. Whether writing, strumming, or singing, kids learn that they can be songwriters too.

Summer Camp (Taylor’s Version)
Grades 6-8

Are you ... Ready for It? No such thing as a Cruel Summer in this camp of your Wildest Dreams. Spend a week Enchanted by all Taylor Swift-themed activities including arts & crafts, games, lyric analysis & more. If you're a Swiftie, this is the one camp you don’t want to miss. Campers should bring their enthusiasm to have The Best Day every day, the energy to always Shake It Off, functional footwear for everything from dancing to outdoor adventures, sunscreen, and strong opinions about their favorite songs. Ipads may be used at some point during the week; campers will have advance notice of days they may need them.

Screenwriting Camp
Grades 8-12
Registration fee: $150–$350

Campers will study scripts, movies, and TV while learning the art of drafting a concept, logline, outline, and pages of their own script. A laptop and notebook are needed each day.

Stop Motion Movie Maker
Grades 1-5

Lights, camera, action! Welcome to the exciting world of stop motion movies. This camp will focus on teaching the basics of Stop Motion Movie creation with MINECRAFT® and other LEGO® figures. Each child will learn to write a script, build a set, direct, and edit their own stop motion movie. Individual as well as group projects will be encouraged. Campers will need to bring an iPad, Kindle, or another device with a camera.

Dancing Stories
Grades 3-5
Registration fee: $200

Happily, we return to activities that have been bringing people together in celebration and unity throughout history. Line dances, Circle dances, individual and group choreography give us opportunities to bond, collaborate, and bring beauty and joy into the world with music and movement. Dancers may bring their own leotard or one will be provided.

Fairy Dances
Grades K-2
Registration fee: $160
Instructor: Marci Murphree
Dates: 
July 5–8 (p.m.)
This camp for our youngest dancers inspires creativity while presenting dance fundamentals with a theme of fairies and flowers. Props, songs, poems, and art spark the dancer's imagination as they find their own inner fairy. Confidence and connection grow as the dancers perform together and for one another. Campers may bring their own dancewear or it will be provided.

  • Spring sports season ends with podium finishes, trophies

    The girls lacrosse team ended its season in overtime to become state runner-up. Tennis players Carter Kojetin '29 finished as a state quarterfinalist, Sophie Oliver '26 and Mary Kate Adler '28 finished as state semifinalists, and Veer Kodali '29 and Max Parker '29 finished as state champions. Meanwhile, eight runners competed at the state track and field meet in Knoxville, where Griffin Davidson '27, Caleb Freifeld '28, Drew Zwerner '28, and Jack Fruin '27, sprinted to first in the 4x800m relay and Jack also placed first in the 800m dash.

    Middle School Quiz Bowl competes at national championship

    The Middle School Quiz Bowl finished off another successful season with a trip to the Middle School National Championship Tournament in Chicago. The team fought hard and ended the season as a top-100 program in the country, finishing 75th overall. Congratulations to the team on a great performance and to Lucas Lupu ’31, named an All Star for being the fifth-highest scorer nationwide.
