Freshmen debate team members earned a great result at the virtual Lexington Winter Invitational held Saturday, January 15 and Sunday, January 16.

Collin Chan '25 and Caroline Keiper '25 finished prelims with a perfect 6-0 record, good for the number one seed in the novice open division. They received a bye to the semifinal round where they met teammates Zinnia Nichols Loller '25 and Eleanor Molvig '25 in the bracket. In the final round, they dropped a 3-0 decision to the second seed from Mamaroneck HS, New York.

Out of 46 competitors in the advanced novice field, Collin, Caroline, and Ophelia finished as the first, second, and fourth speakers, respectively.
