Honor someone special with a bookplate tribute

Give a gift to be remembered while supporting the Hassenfeld Library.
By Mina Brandes & Beth Drewry, Fall Book Frenzy Co-Chairs

Are you looking for a special gift to give your favorite teacher or a meaningful way to honor someone special? Thinking of a unique graduation or birthday gift that will last?

The USN Bookplate program may be the answer.

This limited-time program is an opportunity for your or your student's name to be adorned inside a book handpicked by a USN librarian to be included in the Hassenfeld Library's permanent collection.

Your tax-deductible donation benefiting the Hassenfeld Library ensures:
  • A custom-designed bookplate with your, your student's, or your family's name and the name of your honoree affixed inside a book of the genre of your choice.
  • A personalized note card mailed from USN to your honoree notifying them that you have purchased a bookplate in their honor. Optionally, we can include in the note card the occasion the tribute is for (e.g., birthday, end-of-year gift, graduation).
Within six to eight weeks of your purchase, you will be notified of the title and the author of the book that USN's librarians have carefully selected for your tribute.

The book containing your personalized bookplate tribute will be available for the USN community to check out from Hassenfeld Library for years to come. Click here to purchase your bookplate tribute now. The cost is $20 to $25, depending on the reading level of the book.
