Habitat for Humanity run goes virtual

Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, the annual Home Run for Habitat will be held virtually on Saturday, November 14. Register now and run or walk at the time that works for you.

Initially planned with in-person and virtual options, the USN Habitat for Humanity Club has opted to host the annual Home Run for Habitat sponsored by Gluck Orthodontics entirely virtually out of an abundance of caution for mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

To participate virtually:
  • Register now. If you previously registered for the in-person event, you are automatically registered for the virtual event. Everyone registered is automatically entered into a raffle for the chance to win various prizes from Trader Joe's, the USN Bookstore, Whole Foods, and more.
  • Go for a 3.1-mile walk, jog, or run on Saturday, November 14 or Sunday, November 15.
  • Submit your time with a selfie to USN's Habitat for Humanity Club before 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 15.
  • Celebrate because you are directly helping Habitat for Humanity and a family in need.
It is still possible to participate in this annual USN tradition, and we hope the virtual format allows even more people to be involved. As always, all proceeds from the run benefit Habitat for Humanity, which helps foster stronger communities by providing affordable housing and financial advising. The USN Habitat for Humanity Club contributes annually to this venerable nonprofit, both through donations and a home build in the spring.
