Library transitions from curbside pickup to classroom delivery
With all but our oldest students on campus, our librarians are offering classroom deliveries in place of curbside pickup. Read on to find out how students and families can access library books now.

Students are not allowed in the library until further notice. Instead, they can log into the library catalog to search for books, then put a hold on the ones they want. All students have their own accounts in our library catalog, and parent accounts are available by request. For help logging in, to set up a new account, or for assistance reserving a book, email Catherine Lemaire Lozier.
Library staff will check holds every day and deliver them to students on campus. For families who are staying remote, library staff will send an email when the books are ready, and will leave them in labeled bags in the 19th Avenue Lobby, where they may be picked up anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
An academic and educational leader with experience working with elementary grades in Australia and California, Kristian Noden will join USN for the 2024-2025 academic year.
At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, we will bid adieu to MS/HS Art Teacher Delia Seigenthaler, Operations Staffer Don Brown, and Head of LS Amy Woodson. A retirement reception will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10 in Gordon Multipurpose Room
