Freshman Harper Phillips was featured in a Washington Post article about a summer camp that quarantined its counselors and campers so that they could enjoy COVID-free adventures and fellowship with friends. The Keystone Camp in Brevard, North Carolina stringently followed social distancing guidelines and other public health recommendations. The article — published online Tuesday, Aug. 4 and in The Washington Post Magazine on Sunday, Aug. 9 — captures Harper's moments on a treetop ropes course. She said she "trusted" her camp counselors and directors.
