Latin Students excel on National Latin Exam
Forty-one USN students were recognized for their performance on the NLE, and 20 received the highest honors. Congratulations to our Latin scholars and especially Collin Chan '25 and Laura Grace Hirt '24, who earned perfect scores.

In March, Middle and High School Latin students took the appropriate level of the National Latin Exam. Middle Schoolers Collin Chan '25 and Laura Grace Hirt '24 had perfect scores on the Introduction to Latin and Latin I Exams, respectively. In 2018, just 1,144 students got perfect scores out of the 143,952 students worldwide who took the exams.
The American Classical and National Junior Classical Leagues recognized the following USN students for their performance on their level of the exam:

Middle School Quiz Bowl competes at national championship
The Middle School Quiz Bowl finished off another successful season with a trip to the Middle School National Championship Tournament in Chicago. The team fought hard and ended the season as a top-100 program in the country, finishing 75th overall.
