On Saturday, November 2, the USN Quiz Bowl team attended the Vanderbilt Spooky V tournament. The all freshman team of Riya Narayan, Luke Dinger, Iris Li, Leala Nakagaws, and Maya Giles did well for their first tournament. After several close games and going up against the strongest teams in the tournament, they ended with a 3-7 record. The A team of Daniel Borza '21, Ethan Li '21, Ben Gregg '21, Emily Wykoff '22, and Adeolu Ajayi '22 placed fourth in the tournament. Congratulations to these students.
As part of a longstanding tradition, retired teachers and professionals from USN over the years came together to celebrate, connect, and reminisce during their annual luncheon in Durnan Auditorium.
It is common to have five or more University School of Nashville student-athletes sign college athletic commitment letters each year, and this year, USN saw eight more student-athletes commit to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. USN has several alumni participating in their chosen sport at the collegiate level from the Classes of 2021 through 2025.
