During November, the HIgh School organization Aliados, Spanish for allies, will host a celebration of cultures among Latin Americans, in hopes to promote diversity within our USN community. Noche Latina, previously known as Latin Fest, will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 16 in the Auditorium; it is a great time to enjoy these cultures and celebrate their importance in our community. Adult tickets are $7, and all children can enjoy the event for free.

During Noche Latina, we will offer a variety of Latin American food. HOLA, the parent affinity group Hispanic or LatinX Association, will create delicious dishes from all over Latin America for the festival. We would like to invite USN families to bring homemade dishes from different Latin American countries to share with everyone.

There will be performers dancing to Mexican folk music and interactive dancing lessons. Activities include a booth for face painting, making papel picado, and much more fun.

We hope you will come and enjoy Noche Latina with us from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 16.

If you’d like to bring a dish, please email Victoria Christianson Galina '20.
