Fall Break Food Drive begins Wednesday, Sept. 25

The High School Community Service Club is collecting nonperishables for children living in the Edgehill community.

Every year the High School Community Service Club collects food and organizes it into specialized bags for Metro Nashville Public School students to use over their Fall Break. Each bag is meant to provide simple meals and snacks for one student. Therefore, food donated should require little preparation or tools to create meals. We will be collecting food from Wednesday, Sept. 25 until Friday, Oct. 2. The following food items are appreciated: breakfast bars, cereal, easy mac, fruit cups, fruit snacks, peanut butter and jelly, canned soup (pop-top or peel back), tuna (peel back can or bag), and reusable grocery bags. In addition, money can be given to High School Science Teacher Kristin Droege to add fresh bread or fruit to the bags. Please drop donations off in the bins located throughout High School.
