Inman Relays Recap

4/15-16 Inman Relays:
-Girls: Alima Kassim - On Day 1, Alima set a big PR in the high jump (4'8 (only 2 inches off of the Middle School record)). On Day 2, she ran a blazing fast 200m leg (26.87) of the winning Sprint Medley Relay and another big PR on the 400m leg (63.67) of the Middle Distance Medley Relay.

Jaimie List - Jaimie was the hero of the meet! Despite training in the hurdles and sprints, she stepped up and volunteered to fill in on the 4x1600m and 4x800m relays. She performed heroically with 4 total PR's 7:48 1600, 3:17 800, 76.49 400 (DMR), and 33'0" in the discus, as well as contributing to the shot put relay. I think she and Eleanor might be the first people in history to do a SP-DT-1600-800-400 quintuple...
It wasn't the first time this season Jaimie volunteered to join a relay (the 4x400 at the first meet), and her team spirit and selflessness in putting the team first are a good example for everyone!

-Boys: Drew Brackett - Drew quietly put together some amazing performances with PR's in the 1600 (6:38) and 800 (2:59) and also stepped up to run another 1600 when someone was out of the DMR. He has shown tremendous improvement over the last two years, and his positive attitude and perseverance have really paid off!
