Evening Class spotlight: sleep, soccer

by Anna Cramer, Evening Classes co-chair

Two classes are on the horizon at USN that each speaks to a different need — sleep and soccer.

On Thursday, March 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., USN parent, pulmonologist, and board-certified sleep medicine specialist Kelly A. Carden will teach Sleep 101, including the basics of sleep medicine with time to answer your questions on why you can’t sleep.

On Monday, March 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Mike Jacobs of the Nashville Major League Soccer will teach Building a Professional Sports Franchise. Since he is in charge of roster construction for Music City’s new major league soccer club, you are sure to gain inside knowledge of the sport and the intricacies of building a team.

USN Evening Classes are winter courses taught by Nashville professionals, entrepreneurs, and restaurateurs as well as USN faculty and staff. These classes are for the community with proceeds benefiting the school’s need-based scholarship endowment. Great ideas for new classes and amazing new instructors keep pouring in to bring Nashville more than 100 workshops, tours, and one-on-one instruction.
