Evening Class spotlight: cars, motorcycles, pasta

by Anna Cramer, Evening Classes co-chair

I’m getting out my megaphone this week to make sure you know about the Lane Motor Museum Tour on Saturday, March 9. I had lived in Nashville my whole life and never visited the Lane Motor Museum until we had friends in town last year. I was blown away — as were our French friends. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to get a guided tour of the largest European car collection in the United States, not to mention its varied collection of microcars, amphibious vehicles, military vehicles, prototypes, and motorcycles. It’s a tour for the car lover and also a tour for those who like a great museum.

If you are in the mood for some yummy comfort food in the midst of these rainy days, anybody who knows food in Nashville knows — and loves — the Corner Market Catering Company. On Tuesday, Feb. 19, join cooking buddies Emily Frith and Sallie Swor as they teach you how to make your own ravioli. Enjoy a marvelous shrimp pasta (a favorite at Talk of the Town), sample the Corner Market's famous pasta salad, and even enjoy an heirloom recipe for an old fashioned dessert. There are a few spots left waiting for you.
