Art students earn top honors

Several Middle and High School students will have their work on display at Cheekwood and be honored during a reception Saturday, Feb. 2.

The Arts Department would like to congratulate all students who participated in the 2019 Middle Tennessee Scholastic Art Awards. There were over 1,800 works submitted from our region this year, and talented USN students received 28 awards in total at this level of competition.

An Awards Reception to honor the Gold and Silver Key winners will be held Saturday, Feb. 2 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Cheekwood Botanical Garden’s Massey Auditorium. Please note, only Gold Key works will be exhibited at Cheekwood. And, there will be a $5 parking fee.
