Spring is here, and it’s time to go fishing! That is exactly what our kindergarten and first grade students did during their library enrichment time last week.
We outfitted the students with magnetic fishing poles, and they attempted to find a fish with a special number in our makeshift pond. Students took turns until each one caught a special fish. They then received a mystery book with the corresponding number to take home for the week.
There was great excitement as the fish were caught, and our fish catchers were excited to tuck the mystery book into their book bags for a surprise when they got home. Hooray for spring!
