The High School Community Service Organization is collecting khakis, polos, and jeans for individuals ages five to 18 to donate to housing insecure families in Davidson County through Metro Nashville Public Schools’ HERO Program. Donations will help provide school uniforms to those who may need them.

Donation boxes will be in the 19th Avenue Lobby, as well as other spaces throughout the High School. All donations are greatly appreciated.

According to the MNPS website, the HERO program “works to provide necessary resources, supports, and referrals to help homeless children and youth to be successful in school and have a positive school experience.”

This is the second time the Community Service Organization has partnered with the HERO program this academic year to support fellow Nashville students. In November, the group conducted a schoolwide winter coat drive for the HERO program.
