MS Varsity Girls Basketball Opens the Season with a convincing win over Nashville Christian

The MS Girls Basketball team overcame a slow start to win convincingly over the visiting Eagles from Nashville Christian School. This was the first opportunity that the girls have had to play together and were working out the kinks on offense. We went into halftime leading 18-15. In the third quarter, our offense came from playing sound defense and we scored 18 points in the quarter. The Tigers finished the game on a 27-3 run. Final Score: USN 45 NCS 18.

Next Game: 1st Round of the Overbrook Tournament, Tuesday (12/10) vs Holy Rosary at 5:30pm in the Overbrook School Gym
