High School band members performed at Disney World between theme park adventures.
A group of 21 High School band students comprising Concert/Pep Band members and Jazz Band members joined forces to perform at Disney World's Disney Springs, formerly known as Downtown Disney. The group left USN on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 12 and drove through the night to arrive in Florida on Friday, Jan. 13. After enjoying a day at Epcot, they played a half-hour performance on Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Disney Marketplace stage, leaving time to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios during the second half of the day. After spending the entire day Sunday, Jan. 15 at Magic Kingdom, they returned to Nashville. Students enjoyed the opportunity to play at Disney World, conquering just about every ride, and the comradery of their fellow band students throughout the trip.
