USN came out strong scoring the first three goals of the game, but some careless shot selection led to St. Cecilia closing the gap. We went into the first quarter break tied 3-3. The rest of the game was all USN. Lyla Ross '26 completely dominated the draw, getting the ball to Zelle Jones '25 over and over! Zelle ended the day with 12 draw controls.
We did our best work in between the restraining lines, catching the ball in transition and taking our time on attack to find the right shot. Kate Vaughn '24 was an 8th defender for us down low, grabbing three interceptions and a ground ball. Her timing and awareness came up big for us. This is in addition to her twelve saves on the day!
Eesha Nachnani ’28 is studying how AI responds to cardiology scenarios and how to improve software. She has been selected as a U.S. Agency for International Development Science Champion for her presentation at the Middle Tennessee Science and Engineering Fair.
Convocation on Tuesday, May 14, in Durnan Auditorium, recognized Distinguished Alumnus Seth Feman '97 and welcomed the Class of 2024 into the PDS/USN Alumni Association.
