Bring the Family to the Home Run for Habitat

by Hope Eidam '15

On Saturday, November 8 everyone is invited to the annual Habitat for Humanity 5K Home Run, sponsored by the high school's Habitat for Humanity club.
This 5K run/walk/skip/jog supports building affordable housing for families who need this aid and in the process, teaches them to be smart and responsible homeowners.

A family-friendly and lighthearted event, this 5K is a great time to get together with your loved ones and support a wonderful cause. You can test your running skills and try to beat your recent PR (cross country team--we're looking at you), or just be silly and compete in the hand-holding race--first group to cross the line holding hands the whole way wins the prize! All ages are welcome, as you need not actually run.

For all the necessary details, click on this registration link.  The registration form also allows you to make a donation to the cause even if you can't attend the Home Run.

Come out and support the Habitat for Humanity Club and have a great time; we hope to see you all there.
