Three Additions to HS Faculty

by Steve Robins, head of the high school

We welcome three new teachers to the high school this year.

Libby Dorris joins the high school, where she will teach French. Prior to moving to Nashville, Libby taught middle and high school students in Connecticut. She has a B.A. in modern languages.

Dana Mayfield joins the high school faculty, teaching freshman English and advising the literary magazine staff. However, she is not new to the school: Dana taught in our middle school before the birth of her son, who is now a USN student. Dana has an M.A. in English and teaching experience in middle school through college.

Ben Zeppos '05 joins the high school faculty as a debate coach. A former USN debater himself, Ben will direct the research for this year's competition and teach research skills and strategic goals. Ben has a B.A. in comparative literature, with a focus on Latin, German, and Ancient Greek.
