A nerve wracking game with points being traded back and forth with neither team willing to lose. The Tigers were able to push through thanks to leadership and great serving from EVERYONE, the definition of "group effort."
This game was tight to the very end. In both sets it seemed like the Tigers couldn’t go on an offensive run, with St. Paul’s solid defense and great passing. However, the Tigers were able to keep focused with great cheering and communication from Katie Jane Bruhel, Evan Miller Austill, Corinna Collier, and Julia Ginsberg! While the Tigers were kept from going on huge runs, they made the most of ever serve/possession. In two sets they earned a total of 19 aces, from seven different servers!
Through adversity this Tigers team was able to collectively find a way to support their teammates and help them when things got tough. Come support this team as they earn each point, each set, and each win with tenacity, resilience, and cheer!
