The USN senior will join the University of Michigan men's gymnastics team in 2019.
During a ceremony at University School of Nashville on Thursday, Nov. 15, senior Adam Wooten electronically signed his letter of intent to commit to the University of Michigan for Men's Gymnastics. He was joined by his mom, uncle, siblings Arianna '21 and Cameron '23, Harpeth School of Gymnastics coaches, bandmate, and a host of USN administrators, faculty, and students.

Wooten, who began gymnastics at age 11 and practices 20 hours a week, expressed gratitude to his family and coaches for their encouragement and support.

In August, Wooten traveled to Boston for the U.S. Gymnastics Championships and competed in floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bar. He placed 10th in the all-around out of the 17 and 18-year-olds and fifth out of the 17-year-olds. Click here to read an article in The Tennessean on his success.
