Evening Classes begin with Dec. 2 'Appetizer'

For the first time ever, University School of Nashville is offering an Evening Classes Appetizer at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. Join acclaimed author and Parnassus bookstore owner Ann Patchett as she and other Parnassus bibliophiles recommend books for every person on your holiday shopping list. You will learn from these avid readers what books to wrap up for those hard-to-buy-for relatives so you can check them off your gift list. Don’t miss this special evening with one of our nation’s most popular authors as she and the Parnassus experts aim to make your holiday shopping a breeze. This class is for ages 21 and up. USN Evening Classes are winter courses taught by Nashville professionals, entrepreneurs, and restaurateurs as well as USN faculty and staff. These classes are for the community with proceeds benefiting the school’s need-based scholarship endowment.  Great ideas for new classes and amazing new instructors keep pouring in to bring Nashville more than 100 workshops, tours, and one-on-one instruction.

The 2019 course catalog will be published for viewing only at www.eveningclasses.org Friday, Dec. 7, and registration will open Thursday, Dec. 13. Classes will begin mid-January.
