Fall Book Frenzy is Sept. 27-29

Fall is one of the best times of the year for Nashville and USN. What could be better than cooler temperatures and red-hot deals on your favorite books, games, music, DVDs, and more?
Here’s all you need to know about Fall Book Frenzy 2018.

Fill bags with donations
Distribution of collection bags is underway. Middle and High School families who did not get a bag at Parents' Night can grab one or more at the 19th Avenue reception desk. Lower School students will bring home collection bags during the week of Sept. 10. We will gladly accept your gently used books, CDs, vinyl, DVDs, puzzles, and games. Please, no toys or VCR tapes.

Donations collected Sept. 17-27
We will accept your donated items during morning hook-up Monday, Sept. 17 through Thursday, Sept. 27. Collection bins will be located in the 19th Avenue lobby and 21st Avenue entrance. If you have a large donation or need extra help, please call the USNA Office at 615-321-8019. We are happy to help.

Fall Book Frenzy is Sept. 27-29
During the week of Sept. 24, keep an eye on Cheek Gym as it transforms into a bustling bookstore. Hours of operation are:
  • Thursday, Sept. 27 from noon to 7 p.m. Fall Book Frenzy is open to the USN community. Note new extended Thursday hours for your shopping convenience.
  • Friday, Sept. 28 from noon to 9 p.m. Fall Book Frenzy is open to the USN community. Be sure to make time to shop during Fall Fest.
  • Saturday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fall Book Frenzy is open to the general public, with a $5 bag sale from 2 to 3 p.m.
Volunteers need
Fall Book Frenzy needs volunteers to help make this year a success. Click here to sign up for one or more time slots. As a thank you, volunteers are given the opportunity to shop the sale after their shifts are complete. We simply ask that your purchase be reasonable and only for your family’s personal use.

We want your Box Tops, too
We are also collecting Box Tops for Education during the collection mornings and during the sale. Drop them in your donation bag or look for the Box Top donation bin at the sale. When pooled together, these tiny pieces of cardboard mean dollars for USN.

Proceeds go to the Hassenfeld Library
All proceeds from the Fall Book Frenzy benefit USN’s Hassenfeld Library. Last year’s sale raised over $19,000, which was used for collection development, purchasing additional materials, and enhanced programming, including author visits.
