Girl's soccer opened the 2018 season with a 4-3 road victory at Beech High School. Beech knocked in its first goal in the first five minutes of the game but Sydney N. '21 came through to get USN on the board. Anna S. '22 scored the second goal off of a corner kick from Gemma J.

At the half, the game was locked at 2-2. USN went into the second half looking to score more goals in order to leave with a win. Beech scored in the first two minutes due to a PK putting them up. Sydney S. '19 answered back with a run down the line, a quick cut back, and an awesome goal to the upper 90. Senior Olivia D. '19 knocked in the game-winning goal from a break away. USN's defensive efforts held Beech off for the remaining 20 minutes. Keeper Maggie R. stood her ground with some phenomenal saves throughout the game.
