Save the Dates April 4-5 for 36 Hour Give Back Challenge
by Sam Jackson, annual fund director & Horizons executive director
An alumnus will match donations given during the 36 Hour Give Back Challenge, which begins Tuesday, April 4.
The USN community is coming together for 36 hours to make a difference in the lives of faculty, staff, and students. All gifts made between 8 a.m. Tuesday, April 4 and 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 will count towards our 36 Hour Give Back Challenge. Also join us for dinner at Farm Burger, 4013 Charlotte Ave., between 4 and 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 4. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of its proceeds to USNA’s Bonus Bucks program.
Last year’s Give Back Challenge raised more than $35,000 from more than 200 donors. Our goal this year is to double the number of donors to 400 and raise $100,000. To help with this goal, a generous USN alumnus has agreed to match gifts dollar for dollar up to $50,000 during this 36-hour event.
We ask our community to take advantage of this opportunity and double the impact of your gift by participating and accepting the challenge. Remember all gifts are tax deductible during the Give Back Challenge and will be recognized as a part of our historic campaign, One School. Our Future.
