Seven Tigers competed in the prestigious Great 8 Invitational last night at Harpeth Hall. Under the lights and in wet conditions, senior Holly Schreiber kicked the meet off with a meet record setting jump of 12-3 in the girls pole vault to win the meet. This is her third consecutive Great 8 title in the event! Next up, senior Olivia Jelsma ran to a 5th place finish in the 100H with a time of 15.9, followed up by a tremendous PR performance in the 400m dash where she broke the 58 barrier for the first time, placing 2nd overall with a blazing time of 57.96! Junior Alima Kassim also had a banner night where she earned 2nd place finishes in both the 100m and 200m dashes, running times of 12.09 and 24.74 respectively. Senior Sidney Ware placed 5th in both his 100m and 200m races, with times of 10.82 and 22.18.
