Two Pitchers Work Together as University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers Shuts Out The Webb School Varsity Feet

University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers defeated The Webb School Varsity Feet 1-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.
 
The pitching was strong on both sides. University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers pitchers struck out 12, while Evan Kirby sat down five.
 
A single by Ryan Edwards in the third inning was a positive for The Webb School Varsity Feet.
 
Mahoney Daunic was the winning pitcher for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers. The pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking one.  Owen Block threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
 
Kirby was on the pitcher's mound for The Webb School Varsity Feet. The righty lasted six innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out five and walking zero.
 
Joseph Ozenne, Block, Aidan Savona, and Townsend Stevenson all had one hit to lead University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers.  University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers didn't commit a single error in the field. Dylan Washko had the most chances in the field with 12.
 
Edwards went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead The Webb School Varsity Feet in hits.  The Webb School Varsity Feet was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Gunnar Boles had the most chances in the field with five.
