Tigers got off to a roaring start on Tuesday starting in the field events with PRs by Binyam  and Pera in LJ and Kolter in Discus! Binyam and Pera both earned best jumps of 20-7 and 17-7 respectively, with Binyam's jump earning him a top 8th finish. Binyam and Pera were the ONLY freshmen among the field of 22 jumpers that earned marks! Kolter officially broke through to the triple digits with a PR throw of 100-00! Meanwhile in HJ, Seth and Braylin both had a consistent days, clearing 5-8 with room to spare. Seth earned an 8th place finish, and both are hungry and ready to hit 6-0 in their next meet.
 
Onto the running events, Olivia opened the day with a HUGE PR in her season debut in the 100H with a 15.46 and 3rd place seed heading into Friday Finals. Next up, Alima cruised to a first place and top seed finish in the 100m with a time 12.06, followed later by another qualifying finish in the 200 with a 25.54. In the 1600, Liv and Morgan ran to massive PR finishes earning them both slots in the Friday final (top 12 qualify). Liv finished 8th in 5:44 (a 22s best!), and Morgan 10th with a 5:45 (15s best!). In the 400m, Olivia ran down another PR and qualification with a 5th place 59.25, followed by Harper with a strong 1:06.73. Finally, to wrap up day one, our girls 4x4 team of Harper, Alima, Morgan, and Olivia, ran to a big PR time of 4:10 to win their win and earn a 2nd place seed in Friday's Finals!
