University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers Beats Grace Christian Academy Varsity Lions

University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers beat Grace Christian Academy Varsity Lions 5-1 on Tuesday.
 
Grace Christian Academy Varsity Lions opened up scoring in the first inning, when Trace Phillips hit a solo homer.
 
University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning.  In the third Townsend Stevenson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Dylan Washko singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
 
University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers put up three runs in the fifth inning.  Harrison Fitzgibbon and Aidan Savona each had RBIs in the frame.
 
Mahoney Daunic took the win for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out seven and walking one.
 
Phillips toed the rubber for Grace Christian Academy Varsity Lions. The hurler allowed nine hits and five runs over five innings, striking out five and walking one.  #20 threw one inning out of the bullpen.
 
University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers tallied nine hits in the game.  Stevenson, Savona, and Owen Block all collected multiple hits for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers.  Block, Savona, and Stevenson all had two hits to lead University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers.  University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Stevenson had the most chances in the field with nine.
 
Phillips led Grace Christian Academy Varsity Lions with one hit in two at bats.
