Tigers Lose Tough Match to Friendship

It was a tough afternoon with Friendship Christian coming from behind to take the match 4-3 by winning both the doubles matches. We started by exchanging singles wins, but eventually took the lead by winning three out of the five matches. We had big wins at line 2 with Collin '25 winning 8-3, Conor '23 winning 9-7 at line 4, and Rohan '25 winning 8-2 at line 5. Moving onto doubles, we needed to win one out of the two matches in order to secure the victory. The line 1 duo of Jude '25 and Simon '24 battled hard, but the Friendship team was just a little too strong and took the match 8-1. It all came down to line 2 doubles which went to an 8-8 tiebreaker. The first team to reach seven points would with the match. Collin '25 and Conor '23 tried their best to come back from an early deficit, but Friendship was ultimately able to win pull out the win 7 points to 4 giving them the final match to secure the victory. It was a great and competitive match with many lessons that we can take into our final match of the regular season against Providence Christian.
